Alliant hires former Gallagher exec

Alliant Insurance Services Inc. on Monday named James Spears, formerly with Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., as senior vice president within its Americas division, a newly created role.

Kansas City, Missouri-based Mr. Spears will design and deliver innovative coverages that address existing and emerging risks and exposures, Alliant said.

Mr. Spears was previously area vice president at Gallagher and prior to that worked at Lockton Cos. LLC.
