Falvey hires former Ascot exec to be chief underwriting officer

Falvey Insurance Group has named Tom Nasso, formerly executive vice president – head of ocean marine, at the Ascot Group, as its chief underwriting officer, the North Kingston, Rhode Island-based group said Monday.

Mr. Nasso replaces Michael J. McKenna, who is now head of North America with Axis Capital Holdings Ltd.’s specialty insurance business.

Falvey specializes in cargo, supply chain, logistics and transportation.
