Coastal Insurance Underwriters appoints presidents

Coastal Insurance Underwriters Inc. on Monday said it has named two presidents following the retirement of founder and longtime President Chuck Bushong on Nov. 1, 2023.

Chief Underwriting Officer Sim Bridges was named president and will retain his role as chief underwriting officer. He joined coastal in 2009, according to a statement from the Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida-based program administrator.

Kim Bushong Petrillo has been appointed president and chief operating officer. She was most recently vice president and joined Coastal in 2012, the statement said.

Coastal Insurance Underwriters was founded in 2007 and specializes in programs for condominium associations, homeowner associations, and golf and country clubs.
