Arch Reinsurance appoints ILS exec

Arch Reinsurance Tuesday named  Greg Habay as managing director, head of business development and ILS partners relations.

Mr. Habay, who is based in New York, will be responsible for leading Arch Re’s insurance-linked securities business development efforts, including investor outreach and third-party capital strategies, according to a statement from the company.

Mr. Habay was most recently managing director, business development and investor relations, for Third Point LLC and previously held reinsurance broking positions at JLT Re and Guy Carpenter North America.
