Sequoia Benefits names head of corporate risk

Risk manager Kristen Peed has joined Sequoia Benefits and Insurance Services LLC as head of corporate risk.

Ms. Peed, who previously was director of corporate risk management at CBIZ Inc., will be based remotely in the newly created role.

Sequoia, based in San Mateo, California, is a human resources technology platform and advisory services company.

Ms. Peed was a 2016 Business Insurance Women To Watch honoree.
