Stirk rejoins Marsh as U.S. chief growth officer

Marsh LLC said Thursday that former Ascot Group executive Andy Stirk will rejoin the brokerage as U.S. chief growth officer, effective Jan. 16.

Mr. Stirk, based in New York, will report to Michelle Sartain, president of Marsh U.S. He will lead Marsh’s client acquisition and retention strategies in the U.S.

Mr. Stirk most recently was chief commercial officer at Ascot. Prior to that he was managing director and U.S. and Canada growth leader for Marsh’s financial and professional liability practice.

Jeff Alpaugh, former U.S. and Canada growth practice leader and global real estate and hospitality practice leader for Marsh, joined rival Aon PLC in November.
