Kaufman unit Atain names Linc Trimble chief underwriting officer

H.W. Kaufman Group unit Atain Insurance Cos. said Tuesday it has named Linc Trimble chief underwriting officer, a new position.
Mr. Trimble, who is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, has been a consultant for Atain since February and transitioned to his new position June 1, Atain said in a statement.
He will report to Atain President and CEO Chris Zoidis.
Mr. Trimble was previously CEO of StarStone U.S. Holdings Inc. after founding its U.S. excess casualty division and serving as global head of casualty.
