IMA hires from NFP for government contractors specialty role

IMA Financial Group Inc. said in a statement Tuesday it would launch a government contractors specialty and named former NFP Corp. executive Karen Dobson as the national practice director.

Ms. Dobson is based in Washington, D.C. She will report to executive vice president and national practice director Mark Ware, according to an email from a spokesman.

She was most recently head of international property and casualty for NFP and has also been with Aon PLC.
