Nardac launches platform for insuring solar photovoltaic sites

Newport Beach, California-based specialty broker Nardac Insurance Services LLC said Monday it has launched Community Solar, an online platform for insuring commercial and industrial-scale solar photovoltaic sites in the U.S.

Limits are available up to a replacement cost of $20 million per location, the company said in a statement.

The online platform generates quotes from uploaded underwriting information for each site. Initially, operational all risks and business interruption coverages will be offered, with plans to expand coverages through 2024, Hannah Webb, underwriting partner at Nardac, said in the statement.

Community Solar is led by Canopius Syndicate 4444.
