Cashman named president of Victor managing general agency unit

Managing general underwriter Victor Insurance Managers LLC on Thursday named Ashleigh Cashman president of International Catastrophe Insurance Managers LLC, its managing general agency unit.

Ms. Cashman, who will continue as chief underwriting officer of ICAT, took over the leadership of the unit on an interim basis last December after former CEO Greg Butler left the company for Specialty Program Group LLC.

Ms. Cashman, who was one of Business Insurance’s 2020 Women to Watch, will continue to be based in Broomfield, Colorado, and report to Victor CEO Brian Hanuschak.

ICAT recently became the exclusive MGA and third party claims administrator for Victor Insurance Exchange, which was set up to provide additional U.S. property catastrophe capacity to existing and new policyholders.
