Acrisure names head of South region

Acrisure LLC on Monday named Lori Green as managing partner of its South region, which it formed as part of its previously announced plan to rebrand its operations under the parent company banner.

Ms. Green joined Acrisure through its 2016 acquisition of IBTX. She will head Acrisure’s operations in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas, the company said in a statement.

The move is part of the brokerage’s strategy announced in May to implement a regional structure and apply the Acrisure name to all its units. Earlier this month, it announced the leadership of its new West region.

Acrisure, which is the world’s 6th largest brokerage, according to Business Insurance’s most recent ranking, has acquired hundreds of smaller brokerages over the past 10 years, though this year has seen a sharp decrease in deals.
