Newfront hires former Marsh managing director

Newfront Insurance said Thursday it has hired David Schawe, who was previously a managing director at Marsh LLC, as market leader for Ohio and Kentucky.

Cincinnati-based Mr. Schawe joined Marsh in 2019. Previously, he was an executive vice president at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.

San Francisco-based Newfront has been expanding its operations over the past year hiring several senior brokers from rivals.
