The Reinsurance Association of America on Wednesday said Frank Nutter, its president of 32 years, will retire Dec. 31 and be succeeded Jan. 1 by Lee Covington, president and CEO of The Surety & Fidelity Association of America.
Mr. Covington has led the SFAA since 2018 and, prior to that, was senior vice president, government affairs and general counsel of the Insured Retirement Institute, the statement said.
Justin O’Keefe, chair of the RAA’s board of directors, said in the statement that Mr. Nutter “has grown the RAA into the leading voice for the reinsurance industry in the United States.”
