Alliant hires agribusiness exec from AssuredPartners

Alliant Insurance Services Inc. said Wednesday it has hired Richard Lonneman, formerly a broking leader at AssuredPartners Inc., as executive vice president within its agribusiness specialty vertical in a newly created role.

Mr. Lonneman, based in Cincinnati, has expertise in large, complex placements for the food processing and real estate industries. He previously served as executive vice president at AssuredPartners.

AssuredPartners last Friday sued Alliant, Mr. Lonneman and four of his associates who resigned from AssuredPartners on Sept. 19 to join Alliant.
