Relation names Hall president

Relation Insurance Inc. on Wednesday named Timothy J. Hall president of the Walnut Creek, California-based brokerage.

He succeeds Ed Page, who retired from Relation earlier this month.

Previously, Chicago-based Mr. Hall was head of mergers and acquisitions at the private equity-owned brokerage. He joined Relation in 2019 from Waller Helms Advisors, an investment banking company.

Mr. Hall will retain responsibility for Relation’s M&As and oversee information technology, human resources, broking, legal and performance management, a Relation statement said.

Relation is the 36th largest brokerage of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance’s most recent ranking. Private equity firm Aquiline Capital Partners LLC bought the company in 2019.
