Gallagher Re adds former investment bank exec

Gallagher Re, the reinsurance business of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., said Wednesday it has named former investment bank executive Bart Zanelli as executive vice president within its North American team.

Mr. Zanelli will focus on capital market activities at Gallagher Securities, the capital markets arm of Gallagher Re. Based in New York, he will report to Jim Bradshaw, CEO, Gallagher Re North America.

Mr. Zanelli was most recently head of the insurance practice at Skyway Capital Markets LLC.
