Gallagher captive unit buys Dublin-based insurance manager

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said Wednesday its captive management unit Artex Risk Solutions Inc. has acquired Dublin-based Allied Risk Management Ltd.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Frank Coyle, director, and about 15 employees will remain in their current location under the direction of Paul Eaton, head of Artex International.

Allied Risk provides insurance and reinsurance management and actuarial services.
