Gallagher acquires Oregon MGA

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said Tuesday its Risk Placement Services Inc. unit has acquired Evergreen Insurance Managers Inc., a wholesale broker and managing general agency based in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 2006, Evergreen places commercial coverage for various industries throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Evergreen President Dyan Bates, and Vice President Nancy Schultz and about 10 staff will remain in their current location under the direction of Kevin Doyle, vice president – Western region and Chicago for RPS.
