Argo hires president of US insurance from GuideOne

Argo Group International said Monday it has named former GuideOne Insurance Co. executive Jessica Snyder president, U.S. insurance, a new position.

The Hamilton, Bermuda-based insurer said in its statement that Ms. Snyder was president and CEO at West Des Moines, Iowa-based GuideOne.

Ms. Snyder reports to Argo Executive Chairman and CEO Thomas A. Bradley.

Argo named Mr. Bradley CEO in June to replace Kevin J. Rehnberg, who had been on leave for health reasons since March.
