McGriff hires Sompo exec for real estate, hospitality practice

McGriff Insurance Services Inc. on Tuesday named Jason Dockery, formerly with Sompo International Holdings Ltd., as senior vice president and operations leader for its real estate and hospitality practice, a newly created position.

Mr. Dockery, who will be based in Raleigh, North Carolina, previously served as executive vice president, real estate and hospitality leader at Sompo.

McGriff is a subsidiary of Truist Insurance Holdings Inc., the sixth-largest broker of U.S. business according to the most recent Business Insurance ranking, and a subsidiary of Truist Financial Corp., headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina.
