Cross Insurance president adds CEO title

Jonathan Cross, president of Cross Insurance, has added the title of CEO of the Bangor, Maine-based broker, a subsidiary of Cross Financial Corp.

Mr. Cross, who was named president in 2020, takes over the CEO role from his father, Royce Cross, who will continue to serve as chairman, the agency said in a statement Friday.

The family-owned company, which has around 1,000 employees and more than 50 offices in the Northeast and Florida, is the 32nd largest broker of U.S. business, according to the most recent Business Insurance ranking.
