Mitchell adds electric vehicle features to collision estimating platform

Mitchell International Inc., part of Enlyte Group LLC, on Tuesday announced additions to its estimating platform designed to simplify the collision damage appraisal process for battery electric vehicles.

The added features include an updated interface based on electric vehicle type, parts and data, and qualifiers such as EV battery capacity and motor size.

The platform can be used for damage appraisals on all vehicle types, including passenger, commercial and specialty, Mitchell said in a statement. Updated features will be available later this year.
