RPS names president of program administration division

Specialty excess and surplus broker Risk Placement Services Inc. Tuesday said Russell Duffey has been named president of RPS Signature Programs, its program administration division. 

Mr. Duffey is responsible for leading the division marketing admitted and nonadmitted proprietary programs to niche markets that require specific underwriting and distribution, RPS said in a statement.

Based in Alpharetta, Georgia, he will report directly to RPS President Joel Cavaness.

Mr. Duffey was most recently vice president of market relations for RPS.  

The position of president of RPS Signature Programs was most recently held by Chris Leisz, who is no longer with RPS, according to an email from a company spokeswoman.

Rolling Meadows, Illinois-based RPS is a unit of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.
