SiriusPoint taps former Guy Carpenter exec as next CFO

SiriusPoint Ltd. said Wednesday it has hired Steve Yendall, a former managing director at Guy Carpenter & Co. LLC, as chief financial officer, effective Oct. 31.
He replaces David Junius, who is joining cyber insurance program manager Cowbell Cyber Inc.
Mr. Yendall will report to CEO Scott Egan, the former CEO of Royal Sun Alliance U.K. & International, who joined Bermuda-based SiriusPoint in September.
Based in Toronto, Mr. Yendall most recently served as managing director at Guy Carpenter, Canada and North America, and prior to that was CFO and chief operating officer at RSA Canada Group.
