Alex Bonds named Co-President of Starwind Specialty

Starwind Specialty Insurance Services, a CRC Group company, has announced that Alex Bonds, currently serving as President and Chief Underwriting Officer of CRC Insurisk, will be joining Starwind Specialty as Co-President.

In his new position, Bonds will work alongside current Co-President Brian Norman. Bonds will continue to oversee CRC Insurisk, which offers exclusive insurance products through CRC Specialty producers.

Additionally, he will take on greater responsibility in managing and developing programs across the Starwind Specialty platform.

This appointment is designed to support the growth of Starwind’s exclusive product offerings and to enhance coordination across its business units.

Bonds’ extensive underwriting expertise and leadership experience will be key in advancing the company’s product strategies and business growth initiatives.

CRC Insurisk remains dedicated to providing exclusive solutions to CRC producers and fostering sustainable growth within CRC Group.

Based in Atlanta, Bonds brings over 20 years of underwriting and executive experience across both domestic and international insurance markets. He has held senior leadership roles in property and specialty lines, with experience in both the US and London.
