Lemonade, a digital insurance provider using AI and operating with a focus on social impact, has introduced a buildings-only Homeowners insurance product in the UK.
This launch adds to the company’s existing UK offerings and reflects its gradual expansion in the local insurance market.
Lemonade entered the UK in October 2022 and began offering full Homeowners insurance in July 2024. Since then, the UK has become one of the company’s more active markets.
The new buildings-only policy, developed with Aviva, signals Lemonade’s intention to maintain its presence in the region.
“We’re delighted to complete our Homeowners product offering in the UK market” said Sarvesh Ramachandran, Head of UK, Lemonade. “In record time, Lemonade has become the preferred option for the next generation of insurance buyers in the UK.”
The buildings-only policy is aimed at UK homeowners and can be purchased through the Lemonade app or online at lemonade.com/uk, with pricing beginning at £12 per month. Standard features include coverage for rebuild costs, temporary accommodation, and owner’s liability.
Customers can also choose to add extra coverage for home emergencies, accidental structural damage, or legal matters involving the home, employment issues, or clinical negligence.
