Optio completes acquisition of Luxembourg-based MGA Circles Group

Optio Group, a specialty managing general agent (MGA), has completed its acquisition of the Luxembourg-based MGA Circles Group (Circles).

The transaction, , reportedly marks Optio’s largest acquisition in Europe to date.

Founded in 2001, Circles specialises in contingency and special risks insurance. With over €50 million in premium, it is one of the largest insurers of cinema and live performances in Europe, insuring over 100,000 films and events to date.

Circles is also known for providing solutions in events, fine art, jewellery, and equine insurance.
