CFC appoints Dan Keeler as Head of Digital Underwriting

CFC, a specialist insurance provider focused on emerging risks and cyber, has announced the appointment of Dan Keeler to the newly created role of Head of Digital Underwriting.

In this role, Keeler will drive innovation and efficiency in digital underwriting by leading the API partner strategy and overseeing Connect, CFC’s proprietary one-question quoting portal.

He brings nearly a decade of industry experience to the position, joining CFC from Ascot Group, where he served as Portfolio Delivery Manager.

Prior to that, Keeler spent almost five years at Hiscox Re & ILS, most recently as Change Manager. He began his career at Covea Insurance, where he held the role of Senior Underwriter – Commercial Schemes.

Timothy Boyce, Deputy Chief Underwriting Officer, said, “Nearly 40% of CFC’s new business enquiries came through digital channels over the past year– a figure that has grown rapidly since we launched Connect.
