Orion180 and Neural Earth partner to advance homeowners insurance risk assessment

Orion180, a provider of insurance solutions, and Neural Earth Inc., a company specialising in AI-based geospatial risk analytics, have announced a partnership aimed at improving how homeowners insurance risks are assessed, priced, and managed.

As part of the agreement, Orion180 will integrate Neural Earth’s Risk Intelligence Platform and Neural Earth Studio into its underwriting workflows.

The initial focus will be on developing advanced wildfire analytics for areas with high wildfire exposure.

These tools combine historical data, property-level vulnerability assessments, and predictive modelling to support more precise risk evaluation.

The partnership also includes ongoing collaboration on product development initiatives. The objective is to provide Orion180’s underwriting teams with tools that help them evaluate risk accurately, communicate findings to policyholders, and coordinate with reinsurers.

This approach reflects an industry shift toward incorporating data-driven geospatial analytics to address the limitations of traditional risk models in the context of climate-related events.
