You Re appoints Dan Palardy as Chief Actuary and Treaty Underwriter

You Re, a reinsurance company that combines traditional underwriting practices with a data-driven technology platform, announces that Dan Palardy has joined as Chief Actuary and Treaty Underwriter.

His appointment follows the establishment of You Re’s US entity and the opening of its New York office.

Palardy has extensive experience in actuarial, underwriting, and analytical roles across the US and Bermuda re/insurance markets. He has held senior actuarial positions at Axa XL, Axis Capital, and Cowbell Cyber, where he most recently served as Chief Actuary.

At You Re, Palardy will oversee analytics and contribute to treaty underwriting across Property, Casualty, Professional Liability, and Cyber. He will work with reinsurance partners and apply the company’s technology platform to support informed decision-making.
