Lockton posts record brokerage revenue

Lockton Cos. LLC said Monday it posted a record $2.69 billion in brokerage revenue for the 2022 fiscal year ended April 30.

The privately held broker, which was No. 8 in Business Insurance’s 2021 ranking of the world’s largest brokers, said the 27% increase from the prior fiscal year was nearly all organic.

Kansas City, Missouri-based Lockton is the only privately held brokerage among BI’s top 10 that is not wholly owned by a private equity firm or hybrid of private equity and private ownership.
