Spencer establishes education grant in memory of Dan Kugler

The Spencer Educational Foundation on Friday announced it has established the Dan Kugler Memorial RMOC Grant to help fund its program sponsoring risk manager participation in university education.

The grant from the risk management and insurance education nonprofit is in memory of Daniel H. Kugler, the former Snap-on Corp. risk manager and risk management educator who died earlier this month.

Mr. Kugler, who taught risk management on behalf of Spencer and the Risk & Insurance Management Society Inc., was a longtime participant in Spencer’s Risk Manager on Campus program.

RIMS has made an initial $5,000 donation to the grant fund. Other donations can be made at the Spencer website.
