PCF makes Ohio-based acquisition

PCF Insurance Services Inc. on Wednesday said it has acquired Solon, Ohio-based Z Inc., dba Zinc Insurance Agency.

Founded in 2008, Zinc specializes in insurance and risk management for the trucking, construction, contracting, and motorsports industries, a statement said.

Seth Zaremba, founder and principal of Zinc, which has 14 employees listed on its website, said in the statement PCF will allow Zinc to continue expanding.

Lehi, Utah-based PCF is the 20th-largest broker of U.S. business, according to the most recent Business Insurance rankings.
