Chubb appoints Doug White as SVP Asia Pacific

Global insurer Chubb has announced the appointment of Doug White as Senior Vice President (SVP), Asia Pacific.

White brings over 30 years of industry experience, including more than 25 years based in the Asia-Pacific region.

He joined Chubb in 2014 as Country President for Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau, and has served as Head of Major Accounts Division, Asia Pacific for nearly seven years.

Since establishing Chubb’s Major Accounts Division across the region in 2019, White has played a key role in driving the team’s success and ensuring the company maintains high service standards for some of the world’s largest and most diverse companies.

In his new role, White will focus on strategic projects, provide mentorship to Chubb’s property and casualty (P&C) team, and continue serving on Chubb’s country boards across the region.

Prior to joining Chubb, he was Managing Director, North Asia at JLT Asia, and previously spent seven years at HSBC Insurance Brokers, including as CEO, Asia Pacific.
