Short to lead digital underwriting solutions across Arch’s international platform

Arch Insurance International has announced the promotion of Ed Short as Head of Digital, effective immediately.

In his new role, Short will lead the execution of Arch’s digital underwriting strategy. This involves ensuring a cohesive approach across the London Market, UK Regional, Australia, EU, and Bermuda platforms.

Collaborating closely with underwriting teams, Short’s primary focus will be on enhancing Arch’s digital capabilities across products, placement, and partnerships.

The aim is to provide brokers with streamlined access to capacity and expertise, and to cultivate a digital environment that supports Arch’s open-market underwriting practices.

Short has been part of Arch since 2023, and is taking over his new role following his tenure as Vice President, Digital Partners at Arch. Prior to joining the company, the executive was UK Sales Director for AdvantageGo.

Through his career, Short has also held roles at Hiscox, Barbican and HCC Global.
