Arch Insurance International, a division of Bermuda-domiciled re/insurer Arch Capital Group, has appointed Holley Higgins to the newly created role of Head of Ports & Terminals.
In her new role, Higgins will be responsible for developing Arch’s ports and terminals insurance portfolio, underwriting global risks on both a first-party property damage and third-party liability basis.
Based in London, she will report to Jake Gibbs, Head of Marine, Energy & Construction.
Higgins brings over 15 years of experience in the sector. She joins Arch after nearly a decade at Markel International, where she most recently served as Head of Transport & Logistics.
Prior to that, Higgins served as a Marine Underwriter at RSA and as an Assistant Underwriter within R&Q Marine Services MGA, now known as Hiscox MGA. She began her career at Talbot Underwriting as a Claims Assistant.
Gibbs commented, “We are thrilled to have Holley on board. Her deep market knowledge and strong broker relationships will be instrumental as we continue to expand our offerings. With Holley leading our entry into ports & terminals, we are confident in our ability to deliver innovative solutions to support both new and existing clients.”
