Swiss Re Corporate Solutions appoints Adrian Hall as CEO of United States

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, the commercial insurance arm of reinsurance giant Swiss Re, has appointed Adrian Hall as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the United States branch.
The firm explained that his leadership marks “a pivotal step in its renewed market unit structure, strengthening the firm’s ability to move faster, stay close to customers and brokers, and deliver differentiated solutions.”
Hall started his career at RSA, a multinational personal and commercial insurer operating across Europe, in 1994, and subsequently spent over two decades at the firm, in roles of increasing responsibility.
Post this, he joined ITIJ as an Advisor for the ITIJ Committee, Global & Americas in 2014, and spent over three years at the firm.
He joined Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in 2017 as the CEO for Canada & Chief Agent, and was based in Toronto. Hall spent six years in the role, leading the firm regionally. He was responsible for the strategic direction, financial performance, regulatory & governance, talent management, distribution, operations, and built the Corporate Solutions’ presence in the Canadian commercial insurance market.
As the Chief Agent for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions America Insurance Corporation, Canadian Branch, he incorporated all aspects of regulatory requirements, corporate governance, fiduciary responsibilities of the branch and government and association relations.
Most recently, he served as the Managing Director, Head UK, Ireland, South Africa and Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA) Wholesale of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions for the last year. In the role, Hall led Swiss Re Corporate Solutions across the UK, Ireland, South Africa and Wholesale channels, providing leadership across all facets of the organisation.
