Coastal Marine names Joe Battle as Chairman and Callum Clark as CEO

The Board of Coastal Marine Asia Holdings Ltd. (Coastal Marine), a specialist marine insurance MGA and risk management consultancy, has announced the appointments of Joe Battle as Chairman of the Board and Callum Clark to the newly created role of Group CEO.

Both Battle and Clark joined Coastal Marine in October last year as members of the Board of Directors.

Battle is a distinguished marine underwriter with more than 40 years of experience in the London and international marine markets.

He previously served as CEO of Antares Managing Agency, a Lloyd’s managing agent, and has held senior positions at firms including Amwins Global Risks, Axis, ACE Group, among others.

Clark brings more than 20 years of experience in the marine market. His career spans marine insurance broking in London, marine insurance and underwriting in Singapore, and more recently, marine reinsurance broking in London.

In a recent LinkedIn post, Coastal Marine stated, “With Joe’s guidance and Callum’s leadership, Coastal Marine is entering a new phase of purpose-driven transformations that is focused on delivering greater value to our clients and partners.

“We look forward to a stronger, more dynamic future with this leadership team at the helm.”
