Blue Marble adds Guy Carpenter’s Dean Klisura to Board of Directors

Climate insurer Blue Marble has announced the addition of reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Dean Klisura, to its Board of Directors, representing Marsh McLennan.
In the role, Klisura succeeds Alex Moczarski, who served on Blue Marble’s board since its founding in 2015 and is retiring following a successful career at Marsh McLennan.
Blue Marble commented, “We extend our deepest gratitude to Alex for his vision, leadership, and unwavering support in shaping Blue Marble’s journey over the past decade.”
Klisura brings a great industry experience to the board, having led Guy Carpenter’s efforts in reinsurance, risk transfer, and analytics, critical areas in advancing innovative protection solutions for those most vulnerable to climate and economic shocks.
Klisura added, “Marsh McLennan is a founding partner of Blue Marble, and I’m honoured to continue our commitment. Expanding access to insurance is essential to build resilience in emerging markets, and I look forward to supporting Blue Marble’s growth and impact.”
