Tokio Marine HCC appoints Elizabeth Geary as President & CEO, NA P&C

Tokio Marine HCC (TMHCC), a specialty insurance provider, has announced the appointment of Elizabeth Geary to the newly created role of President & CEO of North America P&C, effective June 30th, 2025.

Based in New York City, Geary will report to Susan Rivera, CEO of Tokio Marine HCC.

In her new role, she will lead and drive the growth of TMHCC’s North American property and casualty business units.

Geary brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the position. She joins TMHCC from Liberty Mutual Insurance, where she served as President, Insurance Solutions, responsible for addressing clients’ emerging risk needs and developing global strategies in areas including cyber, energy transition risk, and alternative risk solutions.

Prior to that, Geary worked at TransRe, where she gained underwriting experience across several specialty classes, starting with US Property and Healthcare, progressing to Global Head of Cyber, and ultimately serving in a dual role as Chief Underwriting Officer, North America, and President, Global Portfolio Management.
