Chedid Re promotes Jalal Tabaja to Deputy Head of Facultative

International reinsurance broker Chedid Re, part of Chedid Capital, has promoted Jalal Tabaja to the role of Deputy Head of Facultative.
In his new role, Tabaja will lead the broker’s facultative division, driving growth and operational excellence.
Tabaja has over 15 years of industry experience. He joined Chedid Re in 2014 as the Senior Manager for Marine & Energy, and played a key role in shaping the marine and energy portfolio, bringing technical depth and strategic foresight.
Tabaja has since served as a Director and Senior Director at the reinsurance broker.
Before joining Chedid Re, he served as a Strategy & Business Development Manager at Trust Compass Ins. Co. for almost two years.
He started his career at Trust Re as a Regional Manager & Underwriter, Marine & Energy, eventually spending four years with the company.
Reinsurance broker Chedid Re has a strong presence in the MENA region with operations running from more than 45 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
