Canopius-sponsored Equus approved as Lloyd’s DCA

Canopius Managing Agents Ltd (Canopius) has announced that Equus Claims Management Ltd (Equus) has been approved as a Lloyd’s Delegated Claims Administrator (DCA), following sponsorship by Canopius.

Equus is a liability adjusting firm specialising in the investigation and handling of equine claims, providing nationwide coverage across the UK.

Co-founded by Mark Pilkington and David Nolan, Equus is recognised for its expertise across the bloodstock, sport, and recreational horse sectors, and actively adjusts claims for several of the UK’s equestrian associations.

The firm’s services include first notification of loss (FNOL), third-party administration, investigation and report-only services, ‘Cradle to Grave’ handling, direct access to external equine experts, and bespoke management information services.
