Carrick Holdings welcomes Armin De Weerdt as AVP, Finance

Carrick Group Limited, a Bermuda-based international non-life legacy insurer, has announced the appointment of Armin De Weerdt as Assistant Vice President (AVP), Finance.

De Weerdt is joining Carrick from Pillar Capital Management Limited, a Bermuda-based specialist in collateralized reinsurance and insurance-linked securities (ILS) investment manager.

Most recently, he served as Assistant Manager Finance at Pillar, responsible for month-end reporting, preparation of US GAAP financial statements, and regulatory filings.

Before that, De Weerdt was an Audit Manager at KPMG in Bermuda, a role that included preparing financial forecasts and reports, evaluating financial performance, driving process improvements, and supporting both reinsurance and acquisition transactions.
