Hannover Re appoints Steven Hardy as Head of L&H Ireland & Canada

Global reinsurer Hannover Re has announced the appointment of Steven Hardy as Head of Life & Health (L&H) Ireland & Canada.
In this role, Hardy will be based at Hannover Re’s Dublin subsidiary, which plays a key role in advancing the company’s Financial Solutions business in Europe and serves as the parent entity for its L&H Canadian branch.
Hardy joined Hannover Re in 2004 and has since held various positions across actuarial and risk functions, including Chief Risk Officer and Head of Corporate Actuarial.
Hannover Re said, “Over the years, he has built a strong track record in capital and solvency, while consistently demonstrating excellent leadership. His expertise will be key as we continue to expand our Financial Solutions business across the region.
