EPIC appoints industry veteran James R. Pierce as Senior Advisor

Energy expert James R. Pierce has been appointed Senior Advisor for EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants to support the company’s strategic growth and development of its Natural Resources practice.
Pierce will work closely with leadership to expand capabilities, recruit top-tier talent, and deliver innovative solutions to clients across the energy sector.
He has built and led some of the most respected businesses in the industry throughout his career.
His appointment marks a significant step in EPIC’s commitment to scaling its presence and impact in the Natural Resources space.

Pierce’s extensive career includes leadership roles as Chairman of Marsh Global Energy and Power and Chairman of JLT USA, where he was also on the JLT Group executive committee in the UK.
Previously he headed Marsh’s global industry practices, including marine, aviation and construction.
The executive began his career at Johnson and Higgins, and after a stint at Marsh, he joined Energy Insurance International (EII), becoming a founding partner.
He led EII to become the US top energy broker, eventually acquired by Aon, where he then led their North American marine and energy operations.
