K&R Swiss AG appoints Stephan Geiger as Director, Treaty Reinsurance

K&R Swiss AG, part of independent reinsurance broker König & Reeker GmbH, has announced the appointment of Stephan Geiger as Director, Treaty Reinsurance, Switzerland.

König & Reeker is an independent reinsurance broker offering a comprehensive line of consulting and service solutions for insurers, reinsurers, and corporate risk managers.

In his new role, Geiger will work alongside Roger Bärtschi, who serves as a treaty and facultative reinsurance broker at K&R Swiss AG.

Geiger brings over 30 years of international experience in primary insurance, reinsurance, in-house consulting, and risk management.

He joins K&R Swiss AG from Guy Carpenter, where he most recently served as Managing Director and Head of the Swiss Branch Office.

Prior to that, he held various senior leadership roles at Munich Re, Winterthur Insurance, Baloise, and Zurich Airport.
