MSIG USA appoints Philip Wray as Head of Property

MSIG USA, a provider of specialty commercial insurance solutions, has announced the appointment of Philip Wray as Head of Property.

In this role, Wray will lead MSIG USA’s national property portfolio, overseeing underwriting strategy, product development, and portfolio performance. He will also help strengthen technical underwriting standards and drive long-term, profitable growth across the segment.

Wray brings over 30 years of global property insurance experience. He has spent the past decade at MSIG USA, most recently as Executive Vice President of Property, where he advanced enterprise-wide underwriting initiatives and shaped the company’s product offerings across general, industrial, and global property lines.

Prior to joining MSIG USA, Wray served as President of Tokio Marine Global and held senior roles at Swiss Re, Lloyd’s of London, Winterthur International UK Ltd., and Zurich. Throughout his career, he has built and managed complex property portfolios across international markets.
