Lockton appoints Kelly Thoerig as US D&O and EPL Product Leader

Lockton, a privately held insurance brokerage, has appointed Kelly Thoerig as U.S. Directors and Officers Liability (D&O) and Employment Practices Liability (EPL) Product Leader within its Professional & Executive Risk division.

Based in Virginia, Thoerig will report to Sarah Downey, U.S. Professional & Executive Risk Leader at Lockton.

In this role, she will help advance Lockton’s overall strategy for its D&O and EPL offerings.

Thoerig brings 20 years of experience as a coverage attorney and executive leader in professional and financial liability insurance.

She joins Lockton after more than 12 years at Marsh, where she held several executive leadership roles, most recently serving as Managing Director, EPL and Wage and Hour Coverage Leader, and FINPRO Claims Advocate Team Leader.
