Tysers appoints Amos Brattle as Head of Cargo

Tysers, an independent Lloyd’s broker and member of the Australian AUB Group, has appointed Amos Brattle as its new Head of Cargo.

Brattle is a senior leader in the Marine division, bringing a wealth of industry skills and experience to the role with a focus on client-first service.

In the new role, he will work closely with his team to drive further growth and expansion of Tysers’ Cargo business.

Brattle has more than 35 years of experience in the marine insurance segment, of which he spent 33 at Tysers.

Tysers commented on the appointment, “A dedicated Cargo broker, Amos specialises in developing innovative and cost-effective cover for challenging and evolving Cargo and Stock Throughput risks across international markets.”

Last year, in October, Tysers bolstered its Asia Pacific (APAC) team with the appointments of Babita Rai as Chief Executive Officer for Singapore and William Furness-Smith as Head of Marine, APAC.
