Evolin Broking launches new construction division, appoints Steve Downing as Head

Evolin Broking Limited, an independent London market wholesale insurance broker, has announced the launch of its new construction division.

Steve Downing has been appointed as Head of Construction, effective immediately. Based in London, he will report directly to Managing Director Chris Baulf.

In his new role, Downing will lead the development of Evolin’s construction offerings, which will encompass construction all risks, erection all risks, builders risk, delay in start-up, and third-party liability.

These services will complement the company’s existing construction liability portfolio. Additionally, Downing will focus on recruiting top-tier talent to enhance product innovation and expand distribution.

With over 30 years of industry experience, Downing has held senior roles at leading firms, including Senior Vice President at Lockton and Director at Willis. Most recently, he served as an Account Executive at Miller Insurance Services. His extensive expertise and leadership will be instrumental in driving the growth of Evolin’s new construction division.
